Prepare a survey.
Put together a question for the community, such as feedback on a shared facility or a proposed change.
THE EVERYDAY TOOLKIT
Ask a question, invite the community to respond, and bring the feedback you receive into a clearer view for your team.
A feedback tool for everyday community topics.
A CLEARER FEEDBACK ROUTINE
Give your team and your residents a simple way to ask and answer questions about everyday community life.
Put together a question for the community, such as feedback on a shared facility or a proposed change.
Residents are notified through the app and can respond from wherever they are.
Bring the responses received into one place so your team has a clearer starting point for a decision.
WHERE SURVEYS FIT
Two common ways properties use surveys. Committees, including JMBs and MCs, often use the feedback alongside their regular decision-making process — see how PropKita supports JMBs and MCs.
Ask residents what they think about a shared facility, such as proposed operating hours or a planned upgrade.
Gauge general sentiment on everyday community topics before your team decides on a next step.
TWO SIDES OF THE SAME SURVEY
Management prepares and reviews a survey. Residents find it in the app and take part when it's relevant to them.
Management puts together the question and, once responses come in, reviews what's been received to inform a decision.
Residents can find an available survey in the app and submit their response from there.
Exactly what a resident can see of overall results, if anything, depends on how the survey is set up for your property. This is confirmed as part of your demo.
CLOSING THE LOOP
Once your team has reviewed the responses, share the outcome or next step through an announcement so residents see their feedback was heard.
A LITTLE MORE CLARITY
Already using PropKita and need a hand?
No. PropKita surveys are a feedback and participation tool, not statutory meeting voting or election software. Formal resolutions, AGM/EGM voting and elections follow your governing documents and applicable law through the process your JMB or MC already uses, separate from this feature.
Residents can see and respond to surveys made available to them in the app. What management can see of the responses received, and how that visibility is set up, is confirmed during your demo.
Whether responses are shown anonymously or attributed to a resident depends on how a survey is configured for your property. Ask about the available options when you speak with our team.
PropKita invites residents to participate; it does not enforce or guarantee a response rate. Encouraging participation, such as through a follow-up announcement, remains a task for your management team.
Reviewing responses is the first step. Sharing an outcome or next step is typically done through an announcement, so residents can see how their feedback was used.
