MANAGE ACCESS

Find important property contacts when you need them.

Keep the contacts configured for your property within reach in the app, alongside a panic-button action for quick alerts.

Not a replacement for calling emergency services directly.

ALWAYS WITHIN REACH

The contacts your property
has already set up.

Residents can open the app to see the contacts their property management has configured, such as the guardhouse or a maintenance line, without needing to search for a number.

  1. Open the app.

Find the emergency contacts section within the PropKita app.

  2. See what's configured.

The contacts shown are the ones your property management has set up — the list can vary from property to property.

  3. Reach out directly.

Use the listed contact information the way you would any saved number.

A QUICK WAY TO RAISE AN ALERT

Tap to alert
your property's configured contact.

The panic-button action lets a resident send an alert with a single tap. What happens after that tap depends entirely on how your property has set the feature up.

  • The limits of this feature, in plain language

It alerts. It does not dispatch, monitor or guarantee a response.

Tapping the panic button sends a notification to whoever your property has configured to receive it — this is not necessarily a monitored security desk, and it does not contact police, fire or ambulance services on your behalf. No attendance, response time or outcome is guaranteed. Always call your local emergency services directly for a genuine emergency. The exact recipient and behaviour for your property is confirmed during your demo.

KEEPING THE LIST ACCURATE

Who keeps contacts
up to date.

Your property management team maintains the contact information shown in the app. If a number or detail looks out of date, residents are encouraged to flag it rather than assume it's still correct.

  • Management maintains the list.

Configured contacts are set and updated by your property management team.

  • Residents can report an issue.

If a listed contact seems outdated, let your management team know, or open the resident guides for how to raise it.

STAY INFORMED BEYOND CONTACTS

Pair contacts with
everyday announcements.

Beyond emergency contacts, management can share broader safety notices or updates through announcements, so residents have more than one way to stay informed.

A LITTLE MORE CLARITY

Good questions.
Clear next steps.

Need help using this feature?

Who receives a panic-button alert?

The recipient depends entirely on how your property has configured the feature — this could be the guardhouse, management office, a designated contact, or another arrangement. Confirm the exact setup for your property during your demo.

Does the panic button call the police or an ambulance?

No. The panic button sends an alert to whoever your property has configured to receive it. It does not itself dial emergency services, and it is not a substitute for calling them directly when you need urgent help.

Is someone guaranteed to respond?

No response, attendance or outcome is guaranteed. Whether and how an alert is acted on depends on your property's own arrangements, staffing and configuration, not on PropKita.

How do I update the emergency contacts shown in the app?

Contact information is maintained by your property management team. If you notice a number or detail that looks outdated, let your management office know so they can review and update it.

Where can I get help using this feature?

Open the resident guides for instructions on finding contacts and using the panic-button action in the app.
